So if you haven't heard yet, apparently there is going to be a 5th generation of pokemon coming out either late this year to early next. Seriously, how many more of these monsters can Nintendo make?!?

A new movie called Phantom Champion Z will feature a brand NEW pokemon. Although i'm not completely convinced that this IS a new generation (probably a mini addition of sorts), Serebii has said that a popular Japanese show called Pokemon Sunday "...stated this Pokémon lives in a new area with many new Pokémon."

Interesting news, but Nintendo should lay off already. If they keep making new Pokemon, the franchise is gonna be dead soon enough.

Personally, the games are great, but after a while... everything gets old and pokemon is on the edge of that failure.

TBH, Pokémon's solution shouldn't be new pokémon, it should be new adventures with the originals.

I think I would've prefered Pokemon Red & Blue 2 than Pokemon Gold & Silver.

Well they did make Pokemon Fire Red and Leaf Green for the GBA a while back. I am looking forward to HGGS because second gen was always my favorite.

Fifth generation is ridiculous. If Gamefreaks/Nintendo had just leave Pokemon back in the second or third generation, it would have been good. They could have maybe made some new games with the originals. It'd die peacefully and be legendary, but they're just dragging it on. It's gonna die painfully of AIDs, not respectfully of old age.

All right, so new pix have been released revealing the new pokemon.

Pre-Evolve is known as Zorua and the Evolved form is know as Zoroark.

My anticipation for the 5th Gen of Pokemon is at bay for the time being due to Heart Gold and Soul Silver being released in a month. Which will be perfect for holding me over until the new generation's arrival. Just as Pearl has done up until recently.

If its not the same as the rest, an RPG, I'll see. I'll be excited only if it isn't.

Heh, shame I lost my interest in the Pokemon games shortly before 5th gen confirmation. D: Perhaps I'll check it out anyway as I'm not ENTIRELY distant from the Pokemon franchise yet. We'll see how this goes. :L
